The presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu in two ceremonies of the orator Dhirendra Shastri of Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh recently is a similar example. This was the presence of the ‘Government of India’, established by law and run on the basis of the Constitution of India, in the Bageshwar Dham ‘Government’. The Prime Minister of the Government of India went in the name of laying the foundation stone of the cancer hospital built by the ‘Bageshwar Government’, and the next day the President went to bless a mass wedding ceremony. Whatever happened there was an extension of the alliance of Hindutva communalism and corporateism. Whatever else Dhirendra Shastri is, the one who is the owner of the Bageshwar Dham Government, he is not a saint or a sadhu from any side. Then what is so special about it that the government of the country, on the invitation of his government, reached the Dham, which has taken a huge shape even in the interior of Chhatarpur in Bundelkhand.
Dhirendra Shastri started inciting Hindutva and superstitious passion
Dhirendra Shastri’s only specialty is inciting passion to the limit. During the recently held Mahakumbh Mela, he had made two statements. In the first, he had said that any Hindu who does not come to the Mahakumbh Mela is a traitor. When there was a stampede in the Mela and many people were crushed to death, he made a statement that the one who dies on the banks of the Ganges does not die, he attains salvation and then everyone has to die, some will die after 20 years and some after 30 years. Because of this specialty, he seems dear to the BJP and the RSS. Dhirendra Shastri is part of the chain of ‘religions’ being established by Hindutva, the Indian version of fascism, which has nothing to do with the beliefs or traditions of Hindu religion, and the Babas being erected as its symbols. He once said that all Christians and Muslims are Hindus because they live in India and in the next speech he said that the population of Hindus in the country is decreasing and the increasing population of those who want Ghazwa-e-Hind is fatal for the country, in such a situation, Hindus must have four children instead of one. What do the Prime Minister and the President want to show everyone by standing with such a person and his institution? There is no need to repeat what kind of ideals they want to present. President Murmu spoke about the centuries-old tradition of saints in India, through their deeds and religion, showing the way to the people and making them aware against evil practices and superstitions. However, none of the Guru Nanak, Ravidas and Tukaram mentioned in this context were Sanatani. In the true sense, all of them were reformers who awakened the people against the inertia of Sanatan. The President mentioned the contribution of saints in giving women their due place in society, but Dhirendra Shastri said on this occasion that a woman who does not have sindoor in her mang and a mangalsutra around her neck, then consider her as an empty plot, which has someone to look after and maintain. People understand by looking at the one who has both of these that it has been registered. Baba, who has the idea of registering women’s property and taking possession of it, went further and said that the most curse will be on the beauty parlor owners, who apply so much foundation even on black skin. Baba described Modi as a Prime Minister, whom Donald Trump also describes as the great PM of India. In response to this, Modi described Baba as a person who is spreading awareness about the mantra of unity in the country. Overall, what happened under the guise of laying the foundation stone of a cancer hospital in Bageshwar Dham and the marriage of 251 couples was a demonstration of the alliance of Hindutva communalism and corporateism.
