A workshop on First Aid was successfully organized at Guru Nanak Public School Rajouri Garden to educate teachers on the importance of first aid in emergencies. The objective of this session was to equip teachers with essential life-saving skills, ensuring that they can respond effectively in times of need. The workshop was led by Assistant Professor Damandeep Singh and Mrs. Davinder Kaur Srivastava, who provided valuable insights on first aid techniques like CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), treatment of minor wounds, handling bleeding cuts and managing burns. The session also covered essential emergency response steps, including assessing the situation, calling for help and providing immediate care until professional medical assistance arrives. The teachers actively participated in the workshop, taking part in hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises. They learned how to use a first aid kit effectively and were encouraged to spread awareness about the importance of first aid in their communities.
